Software

Software development for enterprises and governments

We build the software that organisations run on: customer platforms, back-office tools, secure APIs and the integrations that connect them to what already exists. Identity, access control and audit are designed in from the first sprint, and the codebase is documented so your own team can own it.

What it is

Custom platforms, internal tools, APIs and integrations for organisations whose systems cannot fail.

Most enterprise software problems are not about writing code. They are about the system around it: who is allowed to see what, how it behaves when an upstream service is down, how it connects to the ERP nobody wants to touch, and who can maintain it in three years. We start with those questions, because the answers decide the architecture. Getting them right early is cheaper than any amount of clever code later. We write those decisions down as short architecture notes, so the reasoning survives staff changes on your side and ours.

Every engagement begins with a scoped discovery phase. We map the users, the data, the integrations and the approval chain, then agree exactly what ships and in what order. The first working slice is in your hands early, so decisions are made against running software rather than a specification document. Changes of direction are normal, and the plan is built to absorb them without a reset. Each increment is released behind a review, so nothing reaches your users unseen.

We build with a typed stack, automated tests around the logic that matters, and infrastructure you could move to another provider without a rewrite. At handover you receive the repository, the architecture notes, the runbooks and a trained team. We stay on to operate it if you want that, but nothing about the system depends on us being there. Your security team can review all of it before it goes live, and we answer their questions directly. Support after launch is optional and priced separately from the build.

Capabilities

What the work covers.

  • Enterprise platforms

Multi-tenant web platforms with role-based access, approval flows and reporting, designed to carry real organisational load.

  • Internal tools and portals

Admin consoles, case-management screens and back-office systems that replace spreadsheets and shared inboxes with one record per thing.

  • APIs and integrations

Versioned, documented APIs, and connectors to ERPs, CRMs, payment providers, identity systems and legacy databases.

  • Identity, access and audit

Single sign-on, fine-grained permissions and tamper-evident audit trails, so every action can be attributed to a person.

  • Data modelling and migration

Relational schemas designed for the questions you will ask later, and migrations from old systems that are rehearsed against a copy of production first.

  • Bilingual and RTL interfaces

Arabic and English interfaces built with right-to-left layout from the start, including mixed-direction content and local number and date formats.

  • Cloud architecture and deployment

Containerised services, managed databases, CI pipelines and environment parity, on the cloud region your data residency rules require.

  • Security review and hardening

Threat modelling during design, dependency and secret scanning in CI, and a pre-launch review of authentication, input handling and infrastructure.

At handover

What you keep.

Typical stack

TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Bun, Elasticsearch, Railway, Cloudflare, Figma.

Named plainly. We pick per project and explain why.

  • The full source repository, in your organisation's account
  • Architecture documentation and decision records
  • Deployment pipeline and infrastructure definitions
  • An automated test suite covering the core business logic
  • API documentation and an integration guide
  • Runbooks for incidents, backups and restores
  • Training sessions for your engineers and administrators

How it runs

Four steps, every time.

  1. Discover

We map the product, the funnel or the process and agree where the first useful change is.

  2. Design

Scope, architecture and rollout on paper. You see what ships, in what order, before anything is built.

  3. Build

Working increments, reviewed with you as they land rather than revealed at the end.

  4. Operate

We hand over code, documentation and access, train your team, and stay on until running it is routine.

Questions

Straight answers.

How do we choose the best software development company?

Ask how they handle the parts that are not code. Look for a scoped discovery phase, a security approach they can describe in specifics, a named team you will actually speak to, and a handover plan that leaves your engineers able to run the system. Ask to see how they document, how they test, and what happens when you want to stop working together. Check references from organisations with similar compliance requirements.

Will we own the code?

Yes. The repository lives in your account, the infrastructure is defined in code you control, and the documentation is written for your team. Ownership terms are in the agreement before work starts.

How do you keep a system secure?

Security is a design input. We threat-model before building, enforce least-privilege access, keep secrets out of the repository, scan dependencies in CI, and review authentication and data handling before launch. We also work to your organisation's own security policies and questionnaires.

Can you work with our existing systems and team?

Yes. Most projects connect to something that already exists. We build alongside your engineers, integrate with your ERP, identity provider or legacy databases, and document each connection so it can be maintained.

How is the work scoped and priced?

Every engagement is scoped before kickoff, so there is no discovering the cost afterwards. The scope depends on the number of user roles, the integrations involved, the data to migrate and the compliance requirements. After the first call you receive a defined scope and a figure for it.

Do you support the system after launch?

If you want us to. Some clients take the handover and run it themselves; others keep us on for monitoring, updates and new features. Either way the system is built so that you are not dependent on us.
